Christening*1626St. Malo, Randonnai, Tourouvre, Perche, France
Birth1626Mortagne, Perche, France; Some records give Gilbert as Pierre Tremblay's father's name. File # AFN: FRVL-67 states Gilbert was born in 1614. But AFN: 9MTM-JK states that he married in 1623, so the 1614 birth date doesn't add up.
Emigration*6 June 1647Inspired by the recruiting agent, Noel Juchereau, Pierre left France on 6 June 1647 aboard La Marguerite and arrived in New France (Canada) in August of that year. There he began work on his 36 month contract to work for farmers on the north shore of the Saint Laurence River.

In 1659 Pierre received a land grant in L'Ange-Gardien. This land passed on to his son, Jacques, in 1696.
Marriage*2 October 1657Ozanne Jeanne Achon; Notre-Dame, Quebec, Quebec, Canada
Death*14 April 1687or later date, L'Ange-Gardien, Quebec, Canada; Some records give his death between April 1687 - November 1689.
